Tourism Holdings Australia Pty Ltd is part of (thl), a global tourism operator and the largest provider of motorhomes for rent globally. In Australia, thl has operated since 1993 and now spans 10 Australian locations with a motorhome fleet of more than 1500 vehicles and a crew of approximately 120.
At thl we offer an RV eco-system in which we “build, rent, & sell motorhomes and campervans”. From a “build” perspective, campervans are manufactured in our Melbourne factory and distributed to the rest of the country. Our campers are rented and promoted under brands of Maui, Britz and Mighty and sold to private owners through our retail division under the KEA brand. Owners of KEA RVs can choose to put their RV on our peer-to-peer platform, ShareACamper and earn rental revenue themselves. We also offer owners regular servicing, RV accessories and modifications.
Technology connects the ecosystem together which is directed and driven by thl digital. This division helps deliver fleet solutions, guided journeys, connected on-road care experiences and in-vehicle technologies and apps that enhance the customer experience.
Underpinning all activity is our crew. Together, some ten years ago, we crafted our core values that still hold true today. They are to: ‘be the best’, ‘care everyday’ to ‘be curious’ and to ‘do the right thing’.
thl’s values align with our comprehensive wellbeing programme and extensive professional development, ensuring an exceptional experience for our crew and customers. It is these standards of delivery, professionalism and robust business practices that have “steadied the ship” during the chaotic COVID19 environment, opened new opportunities for the business and our teams and have placed us in a strongest position for the future.
thl is committed to becoming a future fit business, using a clear framework to guide us to becoming environmentally restorative, economically inclusive and socially just. The 23 Future Fit business benchmarks include processes and ways of working, funds management, crew development and wellbeing, community engagement, emissions reduction programmes and procurement decisions through to use of energy, water, waste and so on. It’s a deep and long journey but one to which the company and all crew are committed.
