Assure Programs is one of Australia’s leading mental health organisations with nearly 30 years’ experience in delivering quality Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and organisational wellbeing services. Uniquely in Australia, Assure’s counselling and coaching services are exclusively delivered by experienced psychologists, almost all with at least five years’ experience.

Assure is committed to improving workplace wellbeing at the individual, team and organisational level, by delivering a more holistic and proactive program than any other provider. Where many providers take a generic approach to the delivery of EAP, Assure partner with their customers to develop a tailored program according to the goals and challenges of the organisation.

Assure is the only national EAP provider in Australia to exclusively use qualified psychologists for the provision of counselling services, most who have at least 5 years’ experience. Assure have over 1,000 psychologists, including employed psychologists and a network of quality-assured associate psychologists, all of whom are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). This investment in highly qualified and experienced staff enables the company to confidently work with its customers to manage people-related risks and to provide the highest standard of care.

Assure manages over 500 corporate customers covering over 1 million Australians nationally. This includes small, medium and large organisations across all sectors.

Assure have key offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin, North Sydney and Newcastle. In addition, Assure’s broader network of psychologists covers over 450 Australian locations, with a further 300 practitioners in New Zealand. Assure uses an international partner which allows service provision to be provided in 185 countries.

The average EAP usage across all industries and providers is 3-4%. In 2018, Assure’s average EAP usage was 6.6%. By increasing utilisation, Assure is able to positively impact the lives of a greater number of Australians. The company achieves this through delivering a consistent, quality counselling experience, and by focusing on early intervention, positive promotions, reducing stigma and educating leaders. To illustrate this point, In 2018, Assure provided more than 45,000 counselling sessions. Of the people who accessed, 96% indicated that they were “very satisfied” or “satisfied” with the quality of the counselling.

In addition to a suite of EAP services, Assure has an inhouse team of Organisational Development Specialists who use expertise in psychology to work with customers across a range of individual and organisational needs. These Specialists deliver best-practice, tailored partnerships to proactively support mental wellbeing in workplaces, minimise occupational risks, and create sustained learning with improved performance.
