Concept Care

Concept Care has been selected as an Employer of Choice in The Australian Business Awards 2024. The Australian Business Award for Employer of Choice [EOC] recognises organisations that develop workplaces that maximise the full potential of their workforce through established policies and practices which demonstrate effective employee recruitment, engagement and retention.

Concept Care is one of the fastest-growing NDIS Registered Providers in Australia and has been established as a trusted provider of choice. The organisation is deeply committed to providing the industry benchmark in care support services to the ageing population and those with disabilities or injuries.

Being ACIS 4.0 and ISO 9001 certified means Concept Care’s clients can expect the highest quality care supported by the latest industry and technological innovations. Concept Care’s Director, Nikhi Gopinathan, is highly qualified and dedicated to ensuring clients’ needs and wants are fully understood and reflected in their tailored care plans. A dedicated team backs Nikhi, made up of experienced professionals who share her commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to clients.

Each team member is qualified to deliver a range of different services, with specialities including assistance with personal care and complex and high-needs care. Concept Care’s goal is to work closely with clients, their families, and carers to assess each individual’s needs and help them live the lives they deserve.

To ensure the Concept Care team aligns with the company’s values, creating a highly engaged, motivated, high-performing, and fun team culture is important. This starts with recruiting the right people and is an ongoing journey of holistically supporting the team and creating a fun and rewarding working environment.

Concept Care offers a range of initiatives, policies, and practices to promote employees’ health and wellbeing. These include mandatory mental health training, access to free EAP services, wellbeing awareness campaigns, and other wellbeing initiatives.

Concept Care is committed to open and responsive communication, feedback and collaboration. All staff meetings have a standing agenda to share knowledge, training and experience. Huddle meetings are held with individual teams to promote communication while maintaining efficiency.

Concept Care also offers workplace flexibility, including hybrid working arrangements. Investments in IT infrastructure and software have enabled productive remote working, and many face-to-face meetings have shifted to Teams video calls.

Staff are also provided with the very best tools to enable them to do the best job possible. The workplace has state-of-the-art equipment, IT infrastructure, and furniture, including stand-up desks. The company fleet has recently been increased to 14 vehicles, including four modified vehicles to transport clients with wheelchairs, so all staff in client-facing roles have access to vehicles.

Overall, Concept Care is an award-winning employer of choice. Its culture is passionate and purpose-led, and it offers extensive employee support, learning and development opportunities, and a great work environment where people can thrive.
