Culture, Leadership and Strategy covers the Core & Culture Code that defines ways of working and unpacks the initiatives that took place, in particular Breakfast with Senior Leadership Team, Pancake Day, extended Secondary Caregiver’s Leave, Flexible work and Wellness trainings. Resolution has made a conscious effort in ensuring that Human Resources policies are evolving in line with market trends, so that the employees have a Remarkable experience.
Resolution’s Education, Training and Development program is designed to cover both technical and soft skills trainings. To ensure impactful learning, Resolution consulted the workforce and customised the programs according to employees’ needs.
Performance, Recognition and Remuneration process is composed of our comprehensive framework and fueled by a proactive attitude in managing and rewarding people in a fair and transparent way.
Health and safety has been challenging as there was a call to adapt to a new way of working. A year of Growth and Challenge
In 2021, Resolution Digital experienced a Remarkable year of incredible growth. Our people are our most important asset, and this year, over 170 new Reso’s joined, and 106 of these were additional headcount contributing to our Remarkable growth. This
year, Clients were focused on growth and are spending on advertising, with an accelerated appetite for digital transformation and technology investment. In 2021, we also celebrated 70 of our Reso’s promotions, which is truly extraordinary and well deserved.
Despite our successes, the year had its challenges with the second wave of the Pandemic. Although we were more than prepared, we still had challenges navigating through prolonged periods of remote work, adjusting to virtual working methods, and high vacancy rates fueled by a tight talent market.
Our teams worked hard, and their contributions resulted in delivering Remarkable for our clients; however, long days, under-resourcing, and high vacancy rates challenged our teams daily. I commend and am proud of what our Reso’s achieve day in and out.
In 2020, we relaunched our brand and strengthened our position in the market through the articulation of our 4 pillars:
• Brand – We support clients who want to elevate their brand through digital creativity that sets them apart from others in their market.
• Performance – For clients investing heavily in digital media, performance of that media is key. We ensure that our planners focus on measurable metrics along each stage of the customer’s digital journey.
• Experience – Customer Experience is the theme for 2021, and we have created a team of over 100 experience professionals to build full-funnel experiences that users love.
• Insights – With data being the lifeblood of modern marketing, we look at turning number crunching into insights that fuel constant evolution in marketing thinking.
One year later, our brand, reputation and repositioning have led us to Remarkable successes. I am proud to say that the challenging year of 2021 has strengthened our offering and market position. We embrace the competitive resource market and know that remarkable talent won’t accept less than a Remarkable place to work, and that’s what we aspire to achieve.
