Grosvenor Performance Group
Grosvenor Performance Group has been selected as an Employer of Choice in The Australian Business Awards 2022. The Australian Business Award for Employer of Choice [EOC] recognises organisations that develop workplaces that maximise the full potential of their workforce through established policies and practices which demonstrate effective employee recruitment, engagement and retention.
“Grosvenor Performance Group is thrilled to be once again recognised as an employer of choice through the Australian Business Awards assessment process. We don’t do what we do for the recognition, despite it being nice to have! What’s most important to us is that our people are psychologically safe, afforded the opportunities and flexibility to do their work meaningfully in a way that suits them, and can be the best they can possibly be as a result. Thanks to all of our team members who make this possible every single day.”
Grosvenor Performance Group (Grosvenor) is an employee-owned consulting firm that has been optimising the performance of public and private sector organisations for over 25 years with quality thinking and quality outcomes. Grosvenor is a team of professionals dedicated to making a positive impact for their clients, their team, their shareholders and the communities it operates in. The company has 39 staff across four locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Brisbane. Grosvenor has an industry-leading Net Promoter Score of +60 and offers truly bespoke processes and solutions for their clients – they do not use cookie-cutter processes on projects.
Grosvenor has a strong culture of working collaboratively to deliver exceptional outcomes for their clients – where everyone pitches in, picks up their load and invests back into the firm to share their knowledge and expertise. This is exemplified in one of their organisational beliefs being ‘no dickheads and no passengers’. Every team member is highly competent and are experts in their fields, yet not full of themselves, always learning and growing, willing to listen, demonstrating empathy and respect for their clients and always open to receiving advice and feedback from others. Grosvenor focuses on work-life balance to keep staff satisfied, happy, healthy and kicking goals in their professional and personal lives.
Performance reviews are conducted on a six-monthly basis using the Grosvenor Capability Model, which comprises three central pillars; Grosvenor Beliefs and Behaviours, Capability Framework, and the Customised Development Pathway (CDP). Grosvenor supports its employees by providing formal and informal training to equip staff with the knowledge and skills identified through the CDP. Capability frameworks are tailored to each role, include approximately 30 individual competencies, and are directly tied to remuneration.
Staff are frequently recognised and rewarded for excellent performance, behaviour, and effort through monthly Grosvenor Recognition Awards, annually via Employee of the Year Award, through Ring the Bell when work is won, and staff share in the company’s profits.
Grosvenor’s employee care model sets out a range of initiatives that the organisation provides to support a healthy workplace, including taking time for mental health breaks and pursuing physical activity. Grosvenor encourages staff to contribute to charities in the communities, including one day of paid leave per annum to volunteer.
Grosvenor works hard to be a preferred employer of choice for its employees, from the recruitment process, through induction, progression and development, and all through the employee lifecycle. Grosvenor are incredibly proud that their diverse and talented staff choose to work for Grosvenor and aim to always reflect this pride into supporting their employees to be the best they can be.
