The company is the brains behind some important Australian firsts – like BPAY Group’s flagship BPAY bill payments system and Osko, the faster way to pay. In recent years, the company has transformed and expanded beyond payments and the Group brand reflects the new diversified offering and innovative products. BPAY Group is owned equally by Australia’s largest banks but operates as a separate company and business. BPAY Group operates in the financial services and payments industry. BPAY Group strives for high industry-level standards of regulatory compliance and governance relating to payments-related legislation, privacy and security. BPAY Group monitors its corporate compliance across corporations, employment and competition and consumer law.
As a key part of Australia’s payments infrastructure, BPAY Group has established the BPAY Scheme with its members to ensure a strong governance framework for BPAY Payments and Osko. It voluntarily maintains certification for the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS v3.2) and the ISO 27001 Information Security Standard.
BPAY is distributed through nearly every bank in the country (150+), offered by over 45,000 businesses on their invoices and with 98% brand awareness in all people 18 years and over. BPAY is an important part of the payments industry and with the launch of Osko, BPAY Group has brought real-time payments to Australians.

Each month, a spotlight is shone onto one of these ten skills and opportunities provided to interested employees to build or enhance the skill via various activities and learning materials.
