Since then the company has been the global market leader in Time Definite International Express Delivery. In Australia, DHL Express are the market leader, with over 50% market share, operating 18 facilities across all states and territories, employing approximately 1,200 employees. Its Functions include; Customer Service, Finance, Operations, Commercial, Human Resources, IT and First Choice. Operations Function accounts for the majority of our workforce, with the majority of Operations employees working either in a warehouse environment or as Courier drivers.
The main product offering is a guaranteed on-time international express delivery service. DHL Express uses a fleet of courier vans, trucks and aircraft to pick up, transport and deliver customers’ shipments. Shipments are processed through DHL’s global network which includes facilities both on and off the airport. This network operates in a standardised, efficient manner to deliver on the customer promise ‘Excellence. Simply Delivered’.
DHL’s ability to move shipments efficiently through its network without delay or incident is vital to ensuring shipments are delivered on time.
