Latrobe City Council (LCC) is a local government entity in the Gippsland region. Situated in the centre of Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley, Latrobe City is one of the four Victorian regional cities. LCC encompasses four major towns of Moe, Morwell, Traralgon and Churchill as well as the outer lying townships of Boolarra, Glengarry, Newborough, Traralgon South, Toongabbie, Tyers, Yallourn North and Yinnar.

LCC has a number of major projects aiming build local capacity, reduce disadvantage and barriers to participation, improve health and social outcomes for the area, boost the visitor economy and foster regional pride through major events.
As an example, the $85M Latrobe Valley Sports and Community Initiative, incorporates a commitment of $73.1M to upgrade sports infrastructure and build new facilities within the region. The Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre (GRAC), will feature a range of facilities for competitive swimming, leisure, general community use and major regional events, including an eight lane 50 metre indoor swimming pool with 500 spectator seats.
LCC has a team of professionals dedicated to performance and innovation. The team works across the organisation to review business processes, provide data analytics and provide Councillors and Executive regular business plan and KPI reporting.
