Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd (KCB) is an international consulting firm with a strong reputation for quality service and technical excellence in a range of engineering and geoscience capabilities.
KCB’s Australian operations opened in Brisbane in 1993 and Perth in 2011, and have worked on some of the largest and most challenging resource sector projects in the region. KCB is recognised as a technical leader for mine waste and mine water management services across Australia and in remote and equatorial environments, including Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Fiji, Mongolia and the Philippines.
KCB’s engineering and geoscience consulting services comprise a variety of technical specialties, including geotechnical and civil engineering, hydrology, hydrogeology, and geochemistry. KCB strives to balance social, environmental and economic considerations to meet the needs of clients, the community, employees and other key stakeholders.
The business is governed using an integrated management system consisting of quality, health and safety, and environment (QHSE) procedures. The management system is accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, which steers business conduct and the manner projects are undertaken. The QHSE Policy includes goals of developing a culture of quality, fostering a safe and healthy workplace culture, while reducing environmental impact. As a part of our integrated management system (IMS) KCB uses a Quality Management System (QMS) to provide a consistent and disciplined approach to project management and to engineering, geoscience and environmental consulting service provision. The QMS has been registered to the ISO 9001 standard since 1999.
KCB’s culture, leadership style and strategy is driven by the company charter, which defines who they are and what they do. The charter consists of a Mission statement, a Vision statement and a set of core Values.
