CGC Recruitment has been recognised as an Employer of Choice in The Australian Business Awards 2015. On average, a recruiter at CGC has six years’ industry experience, whereas according to statistics 76% of recruiters have four or less years’ experience. Each employee is responsible for meeting quarterly financial goals. These targets are agreed at the beginning of contract. Employees are worked hard, and results are expected, but for their hard work they are rewarded with staff activities such as sporting events, dinners, lunches and go karting.
In the past four and a half years, only three people have left the company. Ongoing training and education is provided, with external, in house and on the job training as options, based on the staff member’s discretion.
Each year there are individual career reviews where recruiters meet with a director and a team leader. During this meeting there is discussion about career progression based on performance. Employees are awarded impressive commissions based on results on top of their base salary.
